Ah, peanut butter cookies – one of our absolute favorites. Everyone has their own favorite version of these beloved cookies … soft and chewy, chock full of chocolate chips, topped with a kiss, or how about this version …. our Chunky Peanut Butter Cookies.  We took our delicious peanut butter cookie dough and added some extra crunch with Crunchy Peanut Butter and chopped peanuts so they have just the right amount of sweet and salty flavor. These homemade cookies are sure to please even the pickiest peanut butter lovers in your family—and they’re easy enough for busy moms (or dads!) to make, too. We hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Step 1: Cream the crunchy peanut butter and the softened butter until they are fully combined (at least 2 minutes.)
Step 2: Add the white and brown sugar and continue mixing for another 3 minutes.
Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla and mix for the final 3 minutes.
Step 4: Add dry ingredients and mix just until the flour is combined.

Steps 5 & 6: Add 1 cup of chopped peanuts and mix together until combined.

Baking Instructions

Steps 7 & 8: Using a food scale, we measured 2.5 oz. of cookie dough for each cookie.  Roll the dough into a ball and place it on a cookie sheet. Make a criss-cross on the peanut butter cookie dough ball with a fork that has been dipped in flour.

Step 9: Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes.
Step 10: Allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before you transfer them to a cooling rack or parchment paper to fully cool.

  • 1 cup butter (Sweet Cream, Salted, Softened to Room Temperature)
  • 1 cup Chunky Peanut Butter (heaping)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
