Olaf’s Warm Hug Hot Vanilla Milk
My daughter is still Frozen crazy. Seriously, what is it about this movie? To relieve the boredom of a cold rainy day, we decided to have a Frozen movie party. We sent out invitations to everyone, but only Buzz Lightyear, Peanut the stuffed dog, and Hunley showed up. I thought for sure Doc McStuffins was going to be there, but at the last minute she cancelled…just like a doctor. To add a little excitement to our movie extravaganza, I decided to make Frozen themed Hot Chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the right ingredients, so I made this super yummy Olaf’s Warm Hug Hot Vanilla Milk. A little dash of blue food coloring, a swirl of whipped cream (my daughter’s favorite part) and VOILA the perfect (and easy) addition to any Frozen movie watching experience.
How to Make Olaf’s Warm Hug Hot Vanilla Milk
You will need:
- Milk
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Americolor Royal Blue Food Coloring
- Whipped Cream
- Wilton Blue Sparkling Sugar
- Frozen Fractal Sugar Cookies
Add milk to a saucepan. Â For a single serving, we used 2 cups of milk.
Now add a little bit of sugar. Â We added 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar. Â Adjust the amount to taste.
Now add vanilla. Â We added 2 teaspoons. We love vanilla. So again, adjust to fit your own love of vanilla. Â Stir until the sugar and the vanilla are mixed.
Add a drop or two of blue food coloring. Â We used Americolor Royal Blue. Â Finally, heat on a low setting until it is hot. Â Stir occasionally to keep a film to forming on the top of the milk.
Pour this delicious Hot Vanilla Milk into a coffee mug and top with some whipped cream and sprinkles. Â So pretty! And so delicious.
