The Best Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting
Our The Best Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting tastes like whipped cream but frosts like buttercream with the perfect blend of Oreo Cookies ‘n Creme flavor. This recipe is a keeper!
Do you like Cookies n’ Creme as much as we do? Then boy do we have a frosting for you. Our The Best Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting is light and airy and tastes just like Oreo Cookie flavored Whipped Cream. But unlike whipped cream it will hold its shape and last for days in the refrigerator. This is the perfect Oreo frosting choice for people who think buttercream frosting is a bit too sweet. We hope your family enjoys it as much as ours did.
To start, you will need a box of Oreo Cookies ‘n Creme pudding mix for our The Best Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting. The pudding mix contains large junks of Oreo cookies that are too big if you want to pipe this frosting. So the first thing you need to do is remove the Oreo chunks from the pudding mix.
We made our own Oreo pieces using cookies with the filling removed. We gave them a chop and then sifted out the cookie dust before we put the Oreo pieces in the measuring cup. This will help keep your frosting light and pretty. (If you don’t sift out the dust, your frosting will have a grey tint to it.)
The base of the frosting is our The Best Whipped Cream Frosting. To get started making the frosting, put the mixing bowl (stainless steel is the best) you will be using to make the frosting in the freezer for at least an hour prior to making your Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting. Add the whipping cream to the cold bowl.
The Best Oreo Whipped Cream Frosting – so yummy and so easy to make.
This is a very yummy frosting – light, fresh and chock full of Cookies n’ Creme flavor.
