Strawberry Whipped Cream Frosting
A light and airy frosting infused with the perfect amount of strawberry flavor. This homemade Strawberry Whipped Cream Frosting lasts for days and holds its shape like buttercream. Yum!
Strawberry frosting with a twist – our creamy, light and not-too-sweet Whipped Cream frosting is infused with fresh strawberries and boy is this recipe a winner. When buttercream is too heavy give our Strawberry Whipped Cream Frosting a try. We think you’ll love it!
We flavored our Strawberry Whipped Cream Frosting with fresh strawberries but frozen will also work. Give them a quick chop, place them in a food processor and puree. (No extra sugar needed.) One cup of strawberries equaled 1/2 cup of strawberry puree but you’ll only need 1/4 of puree a single batch of frosting.
For best results, put the mixing bowl (stainless steel is the best) you will be using to make the frosting in the freezer for at least an hour prior to making your Strawberry Whipped Cream Frosting. Add the whipping cream and the strawberry puree into the bowl.
Whipped Cream Frosting is so good. Light and fluffy and perfect on so many different desserts. And the added flavor of fresh strawberries really takes this recipe to the next level!
