I’m thinking about making snow cones for my son’s birthday next month. It’s probably a good idea to look for a snow cone machine to make things easier and more efficient.

Did you end up doing this Ashley? How many snow cones did you end up getting out of a bag of ice?

Love the idea of doing the ice ourselves beforehand. We’ll be doing it at a pool, so I am thinking a big cooler for the ice kept in the shade. I’m trying to figure out how much ice and syrup I will need – how much did you use & how many snow cones did they make? I’m loving your snowflake labels as well – definitely using that idea too!!

Hi Kathleen! We kept the bowl of crushed ice in the freezer and then we brought it out about a hour into the party for everyone to enjoy. It was a hot summer day but the ice was fine for at least 30 minutes. By then, everyone who wanted a snow cone had had one.
