That’s why we love them too – you don’t have to fool around with the yeast. You really have to work the bread with the rolling pin to get it a little larger but it can be done!

Dangerous good lol. These were the first time I have ever tried to make Cinnamon Rolls because using regular yeast has not worked out for me. They were so easy. To help them rise I turned on the oven to 190 degrees and turned it off as soon as it reached the temperature. I placed the rolls into the warm oven to rise, they came out well. I see from the pictures that you are able to roll the dough out fairly large…mine didn’t roll out that big but they were big enough to roll. I was wondering if you had any tips to get the yeast to roll out nicer. I will definitely be making these again! Thanks so much for the recipe : )

The heavy cream mixes with the brown sugar and makes the caramel-y coating.

Whipping cream makes them a bit more gooey in texture.

Any way to make them, let them rise then keep them in the fridge or freezer until Christmas day

Thank you! And when mama says it is necessary, who are we to question lol. I will be making this for Christmas for sure, but I will have to give it a trial run before then. You know just to test the waters :-))))))

Hi Tammy – I don’t know. This is an old recipe from our mom and it calls for Heavy Whipping cream. But one Christmas we did make it with Half n’ Half and it still tasted yummy.

Thanks! I’m trying to get my Christmas plans in order for this season that is approaching fast.

I live in Massachusetts and cannot find a local grocery store that carries this product.

Thanks!
