In reply to Kay. I just read to add 1 heaping tablespoon of marshmallow fluff to each cup of heavy cream prior to whipping to obtain that special whipped cream for cakes! The author of the "secret" also said to make sure to refrigerate the whipping bowl and whip in the freezer for 30mins to 1 hour.

I am making a cake with dairy free whipped cream. I plan on using coconut milk to make it, but I was wondering if I could still dye the cream? I have never used coconut cream before.

In reply to Kay. Hi Kay - What we do is add the food coloring to the whipping cream at the beginning of the process (before you start whipping it.) Seems to solve the problem you are talking about. Hope that helps!

Hi, when I add vanilla pudding to my whipped cream for stabilization. I sometimes add color too for cake decorations but have noticed that it starts changing color (has a dried up look) after I take the cake out of the fridge. What can I do to avoid this?

In reply to Ashley. Hi Ashley - we've done both but usually we use a tiny drop of the Wilton Pink. It makes a nice soft shade of Pink.
