Hi! So glad you liked them! Yes, they need to be stored in the refrigerator because of the Cream Cheese in the frosting.

Hi! We are so glad you liked the recipe. We layer them in an airtight container with a layer of aluminum foil or waxed paper between the layers of cookies to protect the frosting.
